artemide edge wall or ceiling light

the edge light by artemide is a cube shaped white light which is flush mounted to a wall or ceiling. this light has been designed by alessandro mendini and is made from thermoplastic resin and is available in two sizes - a 21cm square cube and a 30cm square cube. both take the same size lamp/bulb and with its uniform white diffused light, edge is a great low energy light solution. the edge light is a wonderful alternative to the many spherical shaped lights on the market. it has a strong cuboid form and, with its ip65 degree rating, is suitable for outdoor use.
