Innermost a true microcosm of global trends. Innermost was born back in 1999 in north London when two designers gave up their jobs in order to follow their dream. Steve Jones and Russell Cameron rented the corner of an old lighting factory and got to work. The studio and workshop became an unlikely drop in centre for design talent and the Innermost first collection was launched in September 2000. The Innermost aim was to build a design brand by collaborating with the huge reservoir of design talent that London had to offer. The Innermost brand initially focussed on lighting and expanded into a wider collection including furniture over time. Innermost is the brand for designer lighting, modern lamps, contemporary and funky accessories and gifts. innermost have design studios based in London and Hong Kong and are quirky and fun but in a brilliantly functional way with the main focus being on lighting and pendant shades. Some of the fabulous pieces of furniture and accessories Innermost have introduced are the koi chair, the origami table and the mantel clock. The Innermost lighting range includes the fantastic Jeeves and Wooster lamps by Jake Phipps, the Acid Damask by Timorous Beasties and Clinker by Rich Brilliant Willing.
