Designed by Ron Arad, the Kartell bookworm is an artist's creativity combined with technology and gives life to a bookcase design of industrial scale that can rightfully be considered the worlds most daring and revolutionary bookshelf. Bookworm, the flexible bookshelf. Kartell's bookworm can assume any shape without compromising toughness and functionality and limited only by personal creativity. It is advisable to wall-mount the shelf in a curved shape to keep the materials in tension and to increase resistance once loaded. Available in different colours (shown in wine red) and different lengths (shown in 320cm), the bookworm is marked by a series of bookend supports.
