awhiteroom have had a great response to their recent press release in the Guardian. awhiteroom have also been enjoying the weather in sunny Colne and their sales of garden furniture have taken a sharp upward turn. A sunlounger designed by local company ‘Handford Design’ occupies a prime spot in their window display and whilst resisting the temptation to recline and enjoy a long ‘g&t’ awhiteroom staff are looking forward to their impending trip to the Alessi headquarters……..’ciao bella!!’

awhiteroom have had a busy month... firstly they've been supplying chairs and accessories for ITV's '60 minute makeover' show which is being filmed as we speak and should be aired in the autumn.
They have also just returned from a visit to the international furniture fair in Milan... an amazing experience which will provide loads of inspiration for the coming year. 'It makes us feel proud of our own little piece of 'Milancashire...' here in Colne...says Kellie

After expressing an interest in Elevate East Lancashire's work, awhiteroom were invited to join the Pennine Lancashire think tank and subsequently enjoyed a lively and informative discussion on the Pennine Lancashire vision.
'Dreaming of Pennine Lancashire' was a groundbreaking report produced by LiveseyWilson Associates for Elevate East Lancashire. The late, great Anthony Wilson and his partner Yvette Livesey focussed their passion for the regeneration of the area in the report and now that vision is starting to be realised.
awhiteroom has always been based in Colne and is East Lancashire's only contemporary furniture, lighting and accessories showroom of its kind. Colne has some fantastic buildings and heritage and is surrounded by the wildest, most romantic and beautiful countryside imaginable. Elevate's plans for its regeneration are welcomed and well deserved by the local people and awhiteroom believes it is bringing its very own cosmo culture to this special place, that is Pennine Lancashire, by trading from there.

It was all hearts and flowers as awhiteroom celebrated Valentine's day in style with their most successful on line sales to date. Lovers chose to spoil their better halves with gifts including the lovely Alessi champagne cooler and the Kartell Bookworm!! (and who said romance was dead??)
All that loving has inspired them to big up their wedding list package. awhiteroom can now arrange personalised wedding lists for that special couple ensuring they receive the most fantastic wedding gifts ranging from trendy garden furniture, cool kitchen accessories, gorgeous intimate lighting solutions... even a sofa!!

awhiteroom features in London business school classes. awhiteroom's website has been the subject of discussion recently at the London Academy, where lecturer in business and e-commerce Ms Helen Morgan used awhiteroom's site as a shining example of how to construct an e-commerce website highlighting the simplicity, ease of navigation and to the point descriptions.

NEWS UPDATE - October and November 2007
awhiteroom, who won a contract with Joma interior design to furnish a prestigious five bedroom showhouse in Timperley, have had their efforts televised by Channel M Television Manchester. The episode titled '79 Villafont' can be seen on Channel M's website www.channelm.co.uk under homesearch.
The episode features an interview with the Interior designer and also a tour around the showhouse.

awhiteroom are to host a special promotion to launch the new accessories area in the showroom, dates are the 27th, 28th and 29th of September. All accessories, lighting and existing furniture stock will be on special discount for that period.
