The Kartell bookworm, an artist's creativity combined with technology, gives life to a bookcase design of industrial scale that can rightfully be considered the worlds most daring and revolutionary bookshelf. Bookworm, the flexible bookshelf. Kartell's bookworm can assume any shape without compromising toughness and functionality and limited only by personal creativity. Bookworm is however advised to wall-mount the shelf in a curved shape to keep the materials in tension and to increase resistance once loaded. Available in seven colours (shown in wine red), the bookworm is marked by a series of bookend supports. The short bookworm featured here includes 7 bookends. A medium bookworm and long bookworm are also available.
