This website is owned and managed by a white room. All content including pictures, designs, logos, photographs, written descriptions or other materials on our website are copyrighted. All worldwide rights are reserved. Any reproduction in whole or in part of our website is strictly prohibited without the written permission of a white room.
By accessing this website you agree to the terms and conditions. If you do not agree to them, please do not use and access this website.
Please be aware that all of the trademarks, product names etc. represented on our website is the property of their individual owner-companies.
Deliveries
Delivery times and prices quoted are for UK mainland only (for overseas please ring our office to make arrangements)
We will process your order as quickly as possible and aim to dispatch items in stock within 3 working days of accepting your order, however please allow up to 7 working days for your purchases to arrive. Please note that delivery estimates are not guaranteed. Some products are internationally sourced and may take several weeks to be dispatched to us. We therefore give an indication of estimated delivery times in the product information box. Please contact us directly to find out if an item is definately in stock if time is an issue, before purchasing. In the event of multiple orders each product may be dispatched individually to prevent delays to the entire order. Any requests that are different to our standard delivery terms must be agreed on or as soon after order as possible. Please contact a white room by email or telephone.
Please note that from the moment a carrier attempts to deliver the goods they are then the Customer’s full responsibility. The Customer must also accept the goods when they are ready to be delivered.
Deliveries do not include unpacking, assembly or installation. Standard delivery consists of a kerbside collection and drop off only, however, a white room can offer a full installation service as long as there is a prior agreement. The cost will be subject to the size of an item and also the delivery location. If you would like a quotation in advance, please contact a white room direct by email or phone.
Payment
Payment must be made, and the terms and conditions agreed to, before an order can commence. We accept most types of credit card online. We cannot be responsible for carrier delays.
Customers may pay in full for items ordered online using the secure online payment facility. Alternatively if customers wish to order by telephone and defer payment, 50% of the total will be taken as a deposit on ordering, with a further 50% balance taken prior to delivery of goods. Security of your personal data is of the utmost importance to us. Our website is fully secure and all credit card payments are processed through Protx.
We have a certificate issued by GeoTrust guaranteeing that your transaction is secure.
Data Protection & Privacy
The information we collect about you when we process your order will only be used lawfully in accordance with the Data Protection Act. We will never disclose your details to a third party without prior permission.
Your personal details may only be disclosed to other reputable third parties for the purpose of processing your order. A White Room requires all such third parties to treat your personal information as fully confidential and to fully comply with all applicable UK Data Protection or Consumer Legislation.
Product Information
All prices quoted are in British Pounds Stering and are inclusive of VAT.
We reserve the right to make price adjustments if it is discovered that the price is incorrect to protect us from price rises as a result of currency fluctuations and suppliers’ price increases.
If the price quoted on the website is incorrect, we will advise you of the true cost and await confirmation that you wish to proceed with the purchase.
We make every effort to ensure colours remain as realistic as possible but we cannot guarantee exact colour depiction because of digital reproduction on different web browsers.
We cannot guarantee that items made from natural products, such as leather and wood, will have the same colour, shade, pattern or finish as items viewed on the website because of the inherent nature of such materials.
Please note that some products may require assembly.
Returns & Refunds
Damaged Goods
If goods are delivered to you in a damaged or defective condition, we will refund or replace the products free of charge providing we are notified by email or telephone within 24 hours, followed by a written claim, within three days of delivery.
The cost of returning the product(s) is the responsibility of the customer and in all cases, the products must be adequately packed in the original packaging.
Unwanted Goods
If you wish to return or cancel unwanted goods, you must do so within 14 days of delivery, following our procedures below:
1. Contact awhiteroom within 48 hrs of receiving the goods followed by a written notice of your cancellation within 7 days.
2. The cost of returning the product(s) is the responsibility of the customer, who must also insure the transit of the goods where applicable.
3. The products must be adequately packed in the original packaging.
4. A full refund of the purchase price (less the delivery costs where applicable) will be made within 14 days of the return, providing the goods are received by us in perfect condition.
5. If the item or items being returned or cancelled are not from existing stock and have been specially ordered for a customer there will be a charge of 25% restocking fee which will be deducted from the refund.
